BALI
The Island of Gods
INDONESIA'S LANDMARK DESTINATION, BALI IS ONE ISLAND,
BUT ALSO MANY DESTINATIONS
For most travelers, SOUTH BALI is their entry point. This area, well defined by Kuta, Legian, Seminyak, Jimbaran and Nusa Dua is one of the most popular beach destination in the world. Two hours drive to the north will take travelers to UBUD, a cool and pleasant escape rich in natural landscape, art and cultural encounters.
To the west of Ubud is BEDUGUL, home to Bali’s most picturesque lake temple and a UNESCO World Heritage, Jatiluwih rice terrace. NORTH BALI is home to beautiful waterfalls and is especially popular for sunrise dolphin watching. On the extreme west of the island, WEST BALI hosts a beautiful lowland national park and the best snorkeling off the coast at Menjangan island. On the other side, EAST BALI is low-key, authentic, and quiet; a perfect leisure escape.
