Day 1: Yogyakarta – Magelang | Arrival

Upon arrival, enjoy a warm meet-and-greet service, followed by a private transfer to Magelang (approximately 90 minutes). Check-in at the hotel and spend the remainder of the day at leisure, allowing time to unwind and acclimates.

Day 2: Magelang | Day Trip Yogyakarta

Begin the day with an early departure to Prambanan Temple, arriving before the day-trippers to enjoy a quieter, more contemplative visit. Continue the KOSTUBA Way cultural journey, exploring the Sultan’s Palace (Keraton) and the atmospheric Taman Sari Water Castle with our special touches. Return to Accommodation.

Day 3: Magelang | Candirejo and Borobudur

Explore Selogriyo Temple, followed by a gentle rice terrace hike through the surrounding countryside. Continue with a leisurely cycling experience in Candirejo village, offering a meaningful glimpse into local traditions and daily life. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided visit to Borobudur Temple. Where available, we will arrange a special entrance, allowing for a more comfortable and seamless visit.

Day 4: Magelang – Bromo

After breakfast, check out and continue the journey toward East Java. Guests may choose between:
A.) a direct private drive to Bromo (approximately 7–8 hours)
B.) a train journey to Mojokerto, followed by a scenic car transfer to the Bromo highlands.
Upon arrival, check-in and enjoy a relaxed afternoon amid the dramatic volcanic landscape.

Day 5: Bromo | Sunrise Experience

Depart before dawn for a memorable Mount Bromo sunrise experience – the KOSTUBA Way, offering privileged access and sweeping views of the volcanic caldera. The morning continues with an exploration of the Bromo Savanna, accompanied by a thoughtfully arranged picnic breakfast in the open landscape. Return to the hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.

Day 6: Bromo – Banyuwangi  

After breakfast, check out and continue toward the Ijen region.
You may travel by:
A.) Private overland transfer (approximately 6–7 hours)
B.) An exclusive helicopter experience


The helicopter journey begins with a short drive to the Tretes helipad, followed by a scenic flight over Mount Bromo and Mount Ijen, before landing at Banyuwangi Airport. A private car transfer then brings guests to the resort.

Day 7: Banyuwangi | Day Trip to Ijen

In the early hours of the morning, depart for the Mount Ijen sunrise trek. All visitors are required to obtain a medical certificate confirming good physical and mental condition; our guide will assist with a brief hospital or clinic visit prior to the climb. The trek begins after the gate opens at 02:00, with approximately 90 minutes required to reach the summit. As the ascent starts in darkness, there may be an opportunity to witness the natural Blue Fire phenomenon. Please note that descending into the crater is strictly prohibited. After the trek, return to the hotel for breakfast and rest.

Day 8: Banyuwangi – Munduk | Lake Tamblingan Experience

Continue to Bali by car and ferry or helicopter to Munduk. Upon arrival, guests will be transferred to Tamblingan Lake while waiting for check-in. At the lake, enjoy a ride on a traditional wooden canoe while taking in the beautiful scenery. A breakfast picnic and snacks will be served with views of the Munduk Highlands.

Day 9: Munduk | Twin Waterfalls Experience

After breakfast, visit Banyumala Twin Waterfalls, a stunning split waterfall nestled in the jungle and accessible via a gentle 20-minute hike.  Return to your resort and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 9: Munduk - Ubud | Temple & Rice Terraces

After check out, guests will set out for a day of natural beauty and cultural discovery. Have an early visit to Ulun Danu Beratan Temple, timed to avoid peak crowds. The journey continues to the Jatiluwih Rice Terraces (UNESCO World Heritage Site), where a Balinese lunch is served in a secluded hilltop setting. Afterwards, guests will transfer to Ubud hotel in the afternoon.

Day 10: Ubud | Free Time

A full day at leisure to embrace the peaceful rhythms of Ubud. Guests may choose to relax, enjoy wellness programs, spa treatments, or simply take in the natural surroundings. (We can add a private cooking class or active experience like ATV or Rafting if requested)

Day 11: Ubud | A Day of Ritual & Heritage

Rise early and visit the water temples of Tirta Empul, where guests will have a chance to do the Balinese cleansing ritual guided by a private priest. Continue onwards to Gunung Kawi and wander through the majestic complex of massive stone-carved temple. We do this different to the others by including a visit to the secret 10th temple and a scenic viewpoint to enjoy local village refreshment. Afterwards, have a visit into the Sacred Monkey Forest in central Ubud, before making way to the Ubud art market for lunch and shopping. Return to accommodation, before having a special dinner with private dance performance in the evening.

Day 12: Ubud – Jimbaran | Art Discovery

After breakfast, check out and transfer to Central Ubud to visit an art museum. Guided by the museum founder and curator himself, dive deep into the art scene of Bali. From the tree bark painting of 1930s to the start of foreign influence until the more recent works of Balinese masters, witness and observe the evolution of Balinese paintings. Afterwards, guests will transfer to Jimbaran for their next stay.

Day 13: Jimbaran | Free Time

A leisurely day to enjoy the beachfront setting, resort facilities, or optional activities at guests' own pace.

Day 14: Jimbaran – Uluwatu | Sunset & Kecak Performance

Visit Pura Uluwatu Temple is an iconic seaside pagoda that sits on a cliff, located in the far south corner of Uluwatu Bali. This 1,000 year old Bali temple is one of the island’s most famous tourist sights because of its impressive cliffs, sunset views and the traditional Balinese ‘Kecak’ fire dance. Afterwards, guests will enjoy a dinner by the beach at Jimbaran area.

Day 15: Bali – Makassar

​Fly to Makassar. Upon arrival, transfer downtown and enjoy an authentic seafood lunch or dinner, highlighting Makassar’s reputation as Indonesia’s seafood capital. Check-in to accommodation and relax.

Day 16: Makassar – Sengkang | Sunset on Lake Tempe

Drive north to Sengkang. In the afternoon, explore Lake Tempe by motorised canoe, visiting a floating house and enjoying coffee, tea, and pisang goreng with locals while watching the sunset.

Day 17: Toraja | The Highlands Discovery Experience

​Visit a traditional silk weaving village before continuing to Enrekang. Stop for lunch and coffee overlooking Gunung Nona. Continue to Toraja and visit Burake Rock Hills to see the monumental Jesus Christ statue.

Day 18: Toraja | Ancient Villages & Funeral Rites

Full-day exploration of Lemo, Kambira, Suaya, Tampang Allo, Londa, and Ke’te Kesu Village. Your guide will seek opportunities to attend a Rambu Solo funeral ceremony, should one take place.

Day 19: Toraja | Sunrise & Cultural Heritage

Sunrise at Lolai – Kingdom Above the Clouds. Enjoy downhill cycling through countryside landscapes, stopping at ancient stone graves and megalithic sites. Savor rare Awan coffee and an authentic Torajan lunch.

Day 20: Toraja | Outdoor Exploration

​Visit Bolu Market, then continue to Mai’ting River for a scenic and beginner-friendly rafting adventure through waterfalls and pristine jungle. Picnic lunch is served by the river.

Day 21: Toraja – Makassar 

​Fly back to Makassar and continue to Rammang-Rammang Village for a river cruise among dramatic karst formations. Visit Leang-Leang Caves, guided by a resident archaeologist, revealing prehistoric rock art dating back over 35,000 years.

Day 22 | Departure

​After breakfast, transfer to the airport for onward departure.
